Do Not Crowd the Tidy House

September 16, 2011 § 2 Comments

I’ve found a second entry from the self-help guide to better living:

Do not crowd the tidy house.

Zero in on empty spaces.

Up at dawn, put on your shoes.

Pour sand over the car parts.

Pull the iron bed away,

Up the steepest incline.

Boiling water sanitizes

Crates of cardboard, flat side down.

Scrub the woolen underclothes,

Leave to dry out in the wind.

A perfect cleaning ceremony,

Flapping, dwelling inside-out.
