Taking Stock, Part 1

January 1, 2012 § Leave a comment

Today I had planned to take stock of what I’d written on Circuitous Route in 2011, and jot down my plans for this blog for 2012.  I only got as far as writing down in chronological order most of the titles of my 131 entries.  I could see that it was possible to make new sentences by combining some of the titles.  I came up with:

1. Clutching seagulls, the disordered man shuffled to the trout stream.

He knew he should have listened on the dumbwaiter.

2. From under the door, he watched chalk particles at the back of the closet.

    Hems whispered apologetic thoughts.

3. Cheerful cardboard fish sing into a paper bag.

Noiseless fireworks keep poking holes under his hat.

Tomorrow I’ll get back to stock-taking.  Meanwhile, I want to say thank you to everyone who has read/subscribed/commented on what I’ve written.  I appreciate it very much, and I hope that each of you have a wonderfully creative and happy 2012!
