Pilgrimage, Day 3

She walked toward the speck of bright colors
In the otherwise-drab landscape.
As she came closer, she could see that they came from
The front half of an orange musclebound
Four-foot-high fiberglass squirrel
Dressed in tie dye, with tiny-fingered paws
Clutching a basketball-sized acorn.
His apostrophe-shaped eyebrows
Frowned above bulging eyes,
And his front teeth were as big as dinner plates.
