Umber (9)

I picked up a snapshot of a young woman who wore a white satin dress.  She looked as if she had just woken up.  She stood next to a painting of the Blessed Virgin.  A holy card was stuck to the back of the snapshot; I peeled it away.  There was an image of Saint Anthony of Padua on one side of the holy card, and “In Memoriam” printed on the back.
